Audrey Clemens, age 71, of Stanton, passed away Sept. 2, 2015, in Alma.  She was
born May 26, 1944, in Barryton, Michigan, the daughter of Jesse and Esther (Dow)
Waite.

Audrey married Fred Clemens Sept. 21, 1985 in Berlin Twp.  She was a graduate of
Greenville High School Class of 1962,  Audrey sold real estate and later worked
for the Department of Corrections until retiring in 2000.  She loved to travel
with her husband and spend time with her family and pets. 

Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Fred Clemens of Stanton;
children, Kelli (Brian) Corner of Wisconsin, Jodi (Steve) Swain of Ionia, Clint
(Kris) Clemens of Ionia and Chad (Nickole) Clemens of Fenwick; sisters,
Genevieve Troupe of Greenville, Carolyn (Melvin) Sinclair of Fenwick, Joyce
(Roger) Sage of Greenville and Jan (Tom) Moon of North Carolina and many many
darling grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one son,
William Dever; brothers, Jesse Jr., James, Delwin and Russell and sisters,
Alice, Adeline and Kay.

A memorial luncheon will be held Friday, Sept. 4, 12:30 p.m. at Greenville
Community Center in Greenville with Pastor Tom Rundel officiating.  Visitation
will be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the community center.  Arrangements by Lake
Funeral Home of Ionia.  Memorial contributions may be made in Audrey’s name to
wounded Warriors Fund.
