Curtis, 90, of Lake Odessa, were held Monday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Lake Odessa. The Rev. A. R. Kuehn officiated and burial was in the Lakeside cemetery. Mr. Curtis died Friday at 2 am at his home. He had been ill for 11 weeks. Mr. Curtis was born September 28, 1865, in Woodland Township, the son of Henry and Anna (Meyers) (sic) Curtis. He retired as a Woodland Township farmer about 20 years ago, but didn't move to Lake Odessa until four year ago. He was a life member of the Evangelical United Brethren church. Mr. Curtis is survived by his wife, Ella, whom he married 68 years ago. Other survivors include a son, Ford, of Lake Odessa; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alice Lepard, of Lake Odessa. The body reposes at the Pickens Chapel prior to the funeral.
