Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Dec 1969

A former Ionia resident, Ray A.  Dadd, 71, of route 3, Newago, died suddenly
Sunday morning at Berger hospital in Fremont shortly after admittance.  He was
born February 13, 1898 in Ronald township and lived in Ionia and Lansing before
moving to Newago four years ago.  September 12, 1922 he was married to Esther
Lyle in Ionia.  He was employed by the Lans Corporation in Lansing until his
retirement in 1965.  He was a veteran of World War I.  

He leaves his wife, Esther; three sons, Keith of Holland, Robert of Lansing and
Roger of Gladwin; six grandchildren; two brothers, Charley of Newago and Harold
of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at McKinley funeral home in Newago. 
Rev. David W. Robertson will officiate and graveside services will be at 4 p.m.
at Highland Park cemetery, Ionia.
