All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/mi/mifiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sandy Heintzelman sheintz@iserv.net June 15, 2013, 11:27 pm Hastings Reminder, 2008 Andrea Starr Dahms, age 28, of Harlingen, Texas, formerly of Lake Odessa, died tragically in an automobile accident in Aldama, Mexico on May 3, 2008 while traveling to a pastor’s conference sponsored by Way of the Cross Ministries whom Andrea had worked with as a Pastor Evangelist for the past three years. Andrea was born in Hastings, on November 28, 1979 to Tim and Penny (Smith) Dahms. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School and Western Michigan State University. Andrea was a beautiful young lady, both inside and out, and lived her life for the Lord with an unwavering faith that allowed her to say in the instant before her death, “Praise be to God.” Andrea is survived by her mother, Penny Dahms; sister, Amanda and Mike Smith; brother, Jason Scheid; nephew, Kain Scheid; grandmothers, Alma Smith and Marilyn Dahms; the extended Dahms and Smith families; and her many dear friends at Way of the Cross Ministries. She was preceded in death by her father, Tim Dahms; and grandfathers, Leslie Smith and Joseph Dahms. A memorial service was held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Woodland. Private family burial took place in Woodland Memorial Park. Andrea’s family encourages memorial contributions to Way of the Cross Ministries.
