The daughter of Ollie C. and Elsie M. Clark Scroggins, she was born March 16, 1925, in Casey, Ark. On Sept. 25, 1945, in Danville, Ark., she married Frank J. Dahn. For more than 20 years Luella was the cook at the Hi-Delite restaurant in Greenville and enjoyed quilting, tending her flower beds and fishing trips to Canada. She had attended Liberty Baptist Church in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank J. Dahn, on Oct. 2, 1991; daughter, Carol Anthony; and son-in-law, James Allen. She is survived by her second husband, John C. Dahn, daughter, Evelyn Allen, all of Cedar Springs; several brothers and sisters; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, 511 S. Franklin St., Greenville, with Pastor Mike Austin of Liberty Baptist Church officiating. Private interment is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where envelopes for memorial contributions will be available.
