Former Resident Victim of Serious Accident. Albert Dailey Shot While Hunting. Lived in Lake Odessa Many Years - Funeral Here Today at Methodist Church. Monday morning Charles Dailey received word by telephone that his brother, Albert, living near Riverdale, had been accidentally shot the day before and had died that morning from loss of blood. Mr. Dailey left Monday evening for the home of his brother. Tuesday the only particulars of the case that could be obtained were that the victim while out hunting with several others was accidentally shot in the leg, while trying to scare a rabbit from a brush heap. Mr. Dailey was on the pile of brush when one of the guns was discharged, causing the accident and the cause of death was the loss of blood from the wound. Albert Dailey was a former resident of Lake Odessa, living for many years on a farm near town. About ten years ago he moved his family to Butternut and from there to Elmhall near Riverdale, where he was engaged in farming. Besides his wife he leaves five children, two boys and three girls; his mother, Mrs. N. Dailey; two brothers, Charles of Lake Odessa, and Fred of Goshen, Ind., three sisters, Mrs. l. Brisben and Mrs. H.H. Tupper of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. W.H. Cramer of Bloomdale, Ohio. Funeral services were held at the home near Riverdale, Wednesday, and the remains were brought to Lake Odessa. Services will be held in the Methodist church this afternoon, Rev. I. Mourer will officiate, and burial made in Lakeside cemetery.
