Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Feb 1978

John C. (Steve) Dailey, 64, of 148 Seaver street, Hubbardston, died at Carson
City hospital Saturday, after a short illness.  He was born April 29, 1913, the
son of Frank and Margaret Welch Dailey and was a lifelong resident of
Hubbardston.  He retired from Fischer Body in Lansing two years ago and was a
member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.  Mr. Dailey
married the former Dorothy Mann August 5, 1936 in Hubbardston.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Gerald of Pt. Hope, James of Columbia,
Maryland and Thomas of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Elaine Lutz of Palo; one
brother, Bernard Dailey of Lansing and eight grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday, February 14, at 11 am from St. John the Baptist church
with Rev. Father Eugene R. Fox officiating.  Burial is in the church cemetery. 
Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 pm at the Estep funeral home.
