Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 12 Jul 1954

Mrs. Alice Dailey, 76, of west of Hubbardston died Monday morning, July 12, at 
her home after a short illness.  She was born April 15, 1878, in Montcalm 
county the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Everest.  She was married to James 
Dailey in 1902 in Carson City and moved to the old Dailey homestead where she 
had lived ever since.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1948.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ed 
O’Neill of Lansing; one son, Michael, with whom she lived, and one 
granddaughter, Donna Jean O’Neill; her twin brother, Alvin Everest of Grand 
Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Webber of Michigan Center and Mrs. Bertha 
Vandenberg of Ionia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. John the 
Baptist church in Hubbardston with the Rev. Fr. Eugene Fox officiating.  Burial 
will be in the parish cemetery.
