Excerpts from Hubbardston Obituary

VICKI LYNN DAILEY

Died Thursday, February 26, 2026-age 82 of Hubbardston, Mich.
Born February 26, 1944, in Ionia, daughter of Arley & Velma (Merritt) Travis.
Graduated from Ionia High School in Class of 1962 & went on to earn her degree 
in Cosmetology.
Married Bernard Dailey on October 27, 1962, a union for 58 years until he died 
in 2021.
Vicki was a wonderful cook & baker.
A faithful member of St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.
She worked as a hairdresser in her home for many years.
She enjoyed working with the children at the Carson City & Hubbardston 
Elementary Schools as an aid.
She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs & horses.
Survived by her children, Matthew Dailey, Lynette(Mark)Ward, Tom (Stephanie) 
Dailey; grandchildren,Erica (Bryan), Courtney (Blaine), Trevor, Tara, Maeve;
great-grandchildren,Olivia, Dane, Grace, Landon, Crew, Layla; a brother Robert 
(Jan) Travis; & many nieces & nephews
Preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; son James Dailey; parents Arley & 
Velma; siblings, Marie Spaulding, Gerritt Travis, Merritt Travis, Arlene Brown, 
Carl Travis, Jack Travis, Sandra Fahey, & Steve travis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 1 P.M. at 
St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.
Interment will follow in StJohn the Baptist Catholic Cemetery
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, 
Carson City.
