Russell was born the son of Victor and Martha (Navin) Dailey on May 24, 1936 in North Plains Township. He worked for many years through the Bricklayers Union. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Greenville. Russell enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by three brothers Bernard (Vicki) Dailey, Jack (Janet) Dailey, and Bill (Janie) Dailey all of Hubbardston. Also surviving are 10 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew Jim Dailey. Funeral services for Russell will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Hubbardston with Father Charlon Mason officiating. Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
