E. Waters, 407 West Main St. The critical period of Mr. Dake’s last illness dates back about a year. Deceased was born in Ogdensburg, N.Y., June 10, 1825, which would bring his age at time of death, 72 years and 6 months. He came to Michigan some 30 years ago, and located upon a farm in Easton township, where he cleared and built up a fine farm property, and where he continued to live until about three years ago, when he moved into Ronald, and the last year has been spent mostly in this city, where he sought to recuperate his failing health. He was twice married, and unto him were born 11 children, 8 of which survive the father, as follows: William, Lyman, Wesley and Edward, and Mrs. Sarah Stickney, Mrs. Rosina Waters, Mrs. Mary Lawrence, and Mrs. Lucy Fish. The funeral will be attended from Easton church, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Friends who desire to view the remains before leaving the city, may call at rooms over 407 West Main, between the hours 10 and 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
