Daley, 78, of Belding, died Tuesday evening April 19, 2005, in Greenville. He was born in Lansing on Oct. 28, 1926, the son of Vincent B. and Marvel Klock Daley. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a medic with the United States Marines in the South Pacific. Tom was a life member and past commander of VFW Post 4406 and also a member of American Legion Post 203, Belding, and St. Joseph Catholic Church. In November 1947 he married Jacquelyn Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 23, 1997; his parents; and sister, Mary Patricia Marks. He is survived by son, Terrence M. Daley of Fairbanks, Alaska; grandson, Tristan M. Daley of Fairbanks, Alaska; brother, John and Arlene Daley and family of Florida; close friend, John Geisen of Belding; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Miller of Ionia, J.B. and Bonnie McQueen of Oxford, John and Connie Kennedy of Belding, Richard and Nancy Olsen of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding, with Father CK officiating. A time of visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, with a rosary prayed at 8:30 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, Inurnment is in Easton Township Cemetery.
