Jacquelyn L. Daley, 68, Saranac, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, at her
residence.  She was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Ionia, to Herb and Alice Humphrey
Miller.  She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia.  She
was married Nov. 22, 1947, in Belding to Thomas M. Daley.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one son and daughter-in-law, Terrence
and Lilly Daley of Fairbanks, Alaska; her mother, Alice Miller of Ionia; two
grandsons, Christopher and Tristan; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie
and J.B. McQueen of Oxford, Connie and John Kennedy of Belding, Nancy and
Richard Olsen of Greenville; sister-in law Marion Miller of Ionia; several
nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father in 1978; one
brother, Robert Miller, in 1992.

Funeral mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, Belding, with Father
George Darling officiating.  Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.  Visitation
will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, with a vigil service at 8:30 at the Johnson Funeral
Home, Belding.  Memorials may be made to Ionia Area Hospice, Ionia County
Memorial Hospital, or St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia.
