State street, Tuesday morning, when the summons came to Mrs. Rose Daller, the 78 year old wife and mother of the family. Mrs. Daller had been up and around during the morning and had been taking a deep interest in the Forty Hours Adoration services which were being held at the Catholic church, of which she was a member and other than that she had remarked a number of times during the past few days and weeks that she had tired easily, no intimation of impending death or even seriously impaired health was thought of by members of the family. For many years, with her husband, Alois Daller, the deceased had been a resident of Keene township, but after their retirement from the farm, which is now occupied by a son-in-law, Anthony Reitz, the couple came to this city where they purchased the fine home at 203 W. State St., where they have since resided. She was one of the ten children of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kuhn, pioneer residents of the Miriam district. During practically all of her adult life, Mrs. Daller had been a near neighbor of Mathias Laux, whose death took place at his Miriam home on Monday. Surviving are the husband, Alois, two sons, Leo of this city, and William of Miriam; two daughters, Mary Daller and Mrs. Laura Werner, of Grattan; two brothers, Joseph Kuhn, of Detroit, and Otto Kuhn, of Syracuse, New York; four sisters, Mrs. Mat Billinger, of Saranac; Mrs. Paul Feuerstein, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Mrs. Amil Walters, of Greenville and Mrs. Joseph Jacoby, of Miriam. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 9 o’clock, from St. Mary’s church, at Miriam, of which for many years she had been a member prior to the time she came to this city. Rev. Fr. Ralph J. Kelly will officiate and burial will be in the cemetery at Miriam.
