"Bill" Daller, 93, of Belding, passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 10, 2017 at Metron of Belding surrounded by his family. Bill was born on July 27, 1924 in Ionia, the son of William J. and Lena (Gasper) Daller. Bill was a lifelong resident of the Belding area and graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1942. In earlier years, he had worked at Breimayer Chevrolet when they were also an Allis Chalmers dealership, later at Gibson's in Belding and after retirement, Bill served as a greeter at the Meijer Store in Greenville. Even in working his full-time jobs, Bill also enjoyed many years of being a fruit grower, farmer and working his land. He was a past member of Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding. Bill loved gardening, fishing, deer hunting, music, visiting with family and friends and wintering in Clearwater, Florida. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bill married Jean Satterlee on Feb. 18, 1995. Bill is loved and survived by his wife Jean and his children; Patty Donovan, Vickie (Carroll) Albert, Shirley (Dan) Feuerstein, Dennis Daller, Jean's children; Mary (Cal) Wilson all of Belding, Donna Satterlee of Farmington Hills, Karen (Mark) Rose of Holly and David Satterlee of Belding and Christa (John) Collins of Greenville, 21 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded by his parents, brother Ralph, sisters Doris Grand and Margaret Schafer and his first wife Mary Daller. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding with Fr. Mark Bauer as celebrant. Committal prayers will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Belding. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:40 p.m. at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph/ St. Mary Catholic Church. Messages of condolence may be given at www.jffh.com.
