The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 12, 1959
Mrs. Lena M. Daller, 66, 3286 Miriam road, Belding, died October 10 at 9:35 
p.m. at Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids, after three days illness.  Mrs. 
Daller was born April 10, 1893 at Belding.  She had lived in Miriam since 1929 
and prior to that had lived in Ionia.  She was a member of the St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Altar society at Miriam.  She was married at 
Miriam May 24, 1923 to William J. Daller who survives her.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Doris) 
Grant of Belding and Mrs. Ronald (Margaret) Schafer of Muir; two sons, William 
A. and Ralph L. Daller of Belding; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Rittersdorf of 
Miriam and Mrs. Martin Engemann of Belding; three brothers, Carl Gasper of 
Grand Rapids and Ralph and Theodore Gasper of Miriam, and 10 grandchildren.  

Solemn requiem high mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Mary’s 
church in Miriam with the Rev. Fr. C. E. Steves, Fr. E. Walters, Fr. W. Reitz 
and Fr. J. Reitz officiating.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s church cemetery.  
Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock at the Huffman funeral 
home in Belding.
