JOSEPHINE DALLY ATER A LONG ILLINESS PASSED AWAY SUNDAY. FUNERAL TUESDAY. ---------- Mrs.Josephine Dally, the daughter of Joseph and Sufrania Guettler, was born at Keiglalville, Ind, on November 19, 1856,and passed away at the home at Lake Odessa on Sunday, Jan, 19, 1941. She was in her 85th year. On January 4, 1876 she was united in marriage to Benjamin F. Dally. A year or two after their marriage they moved to Barry county, Mich., and for nearly 64 years her home has been in or near Lake Odessa. Mr. Dally was taken by death in 1918. Mrs. Dally was one of the pioneers of this region and was formerly a member of the Tamarac United Brethren church. Mrs. Dally was a loyal member of the local Reekah lodge for 40 years and was noble grand of the staff for several years. She was very highly esteemed by att who knew her. There are left to mourn the loss sustained, the son Albert Dally, and the daughter Mrs. Myrtle Kart, both of Lake Odessa; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and many friends. The funeral was held at the Wortley & Baine funeral chapel Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. C. E. Thies of the Methodist church officiating and burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
