Lake Odessa Wave - Times - November 6, 1941
          BERT DALLY DIED MONDAY AT HIS HOME HERE
   Bert Dally, 64, died at his home here early Monday afternoon.  He was unmarried
and is survived by a sister 
Mrs. Mertie Kart with whom he made his home.
   Funeral services were held from the Wortley & Baine chapel Wednesday afternoon
with the Rev. John J. 
Price, pastor of the First United Brethren in Christ church, officiating.  Interment
was made in Lakeside 
cemetery.
   Born in Kendalville, Ind., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Dally, he moved
with his parents to Lake 
Odessa when he was still a child.  He worked as a carpenter here for several years
and later at farming 
northeast of town.  On account of failing health he retired two years ago and with
his mother moved to Lake 
Odessa.  She passed away last January.
