The Ionia County News, Thursday, August 11, 1932

William Dalton, 82, a resident of Keene township until two years ago, died at 
his home in Grand Rapids Wednesday afternoon.  Mr. Dalton was a Civil War 
veteran and retired bridge contractor.  For many years he was employed by the 
American Bridge Co. of Detroit.

Surviving relatives are his daughter, Florence, and one brother, both of Grand 
Rapids.

Funeral services will be from the residence, 414 Alger St., Grand Rapids, 
Friday afternoon at 2:30.  The body will be shipped to Detroit for burial 
following services by Rev. Pardue in Burton Heights Methodist church.
