Raymond E. Dalton, 93, of Hubbardston, died on Fri., March 1, 2002 at his home.

Mr. Dalton was born on June 30, 1908 in Palo, the son of Ernest and Edith 
(Jackson) Dalton.

He is survived by one son, Benjamin “Mike” (Linda) Dalton of Hubbardston; three 
daughters-in-law, Donna Dalton of Hubbardston, Birdie Dalton of Sheridan and 
Ruth Ann Dalton of Panama City, Fla; several grandchildren; several great-
grandchildren; and several great, great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his wife, Iola (Calvin) Dalton in 1972. 

Mr. Dalton was a retired farmer, a life member of the Pearl Lake Lodge F. & 
A.M. of Sheridan, and a member of the Palo Oddfellow Lodge.

There will be no visitation held prior to the memorial service.  Memorial 
services will begin at 11 p.m., Wednesday at the Stebbins and Simpson Funeral 
Home at Sheridan with Rev. Kenneth Harger of the Shiloh Community Church 
officiating.  In accordance with Mr. Dalton’s wishes, cremation has already 
taken place.  Final interment of cremains will be at the Richland Township 
Cemetery, Vestaburg.  The family suggests contributions to the charity of one’s 
choice.
