SHERIDAN - Ernest J. Dalton, 58, 6538 Bricker Rd., Hubbardston, died today, Jan. 
19, 1987, at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center, Grand Rapids.

Mr. Dalton was born Nov. 7, 1928, at Vestaburg, the son of Raymond and Iola 
Galvin Dalton. A former resident of Portland, Mr. Dalton had resided in 
Hubbardston since April.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Stanton American Legion Post 
and the Portland Conservation Club.

On Oct. 10, 1953, he was married in Palo to Donna Cole. She survives.

Other survivors are his father, Raymond Dalton, Naples, Fla., three daughters, 
Mrs. Michael (Jacqueline) Ferris of Lyons, Mrs. Robert (Jerie) Tate , Greenville 
and Mrs. David (Judy) Krause, Cedar Springs; four sons, Jonnie of Eagle, Jeffrey 
and James of Palo and Jene of Austin, Tex.; threes brothers, Robert of Sheridan, 
Benjamin (Mike) of Hubbardston and Raymond (Jack) of Panama City , Fla.; 12 
grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home, 
Sheridan, with interment at Palo Cemetery.
