Dalzell of Muir, widow of George E. Dalzell, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Don S. Miller of Detroit, Wednesday evening, October 18, 1939. Christian Science service was in charge of Mrs. Jesse Smith-Faude of Ionia. Mrs. Beatrice Anderson Smith played favorite hymns on the melodian. Mrs. Dalzell was born in St. Johns September 17, 1857. She was married to George Dalzell February 22, 1879. They were among the early pioneers of Ionia county. Surviving are the two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Dalzell Hicks of Muir, and Mrs. Don S. Miller of Detroit; three grandsons and one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Fitzpatrick and Miss Sadie Love, and two brothers, Frank E. Love of Oklahoma City and Thomas H. Love of Muir. The following out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Don S. Miller and son, Devore, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Miller and Miss Lena Dagg of Athens, Ohio; Miss Edna Love, Miss Beth Love and R.N. Gay of St. Johns, Mrs. Eva Gay of Fowler, Mrs. Dora Wiley and Lee Raycraft of Ithaca, Mrs. Lotta Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Moody and Mrs. Lizzie McNamara of Alma, Mrs. Leonard Scheid, Mrs. Herman Hoople, Mrs. B.M. Hawley, Mrs. Lura Dalzell, Miss Lucille Wilson of Ionia.
