Damon, 71, who made her home at 201 Conkey drive, Woodard lake, died in Belding community hospital on Sunday morning. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, August 3, 1897, she was a daughter of Joseph and Jane Ulch Park. She was married to Wilfred Baragrey who preceded her in death in 1926. She later married George G. Damon, who passed away in January, 1960. A daughter Dorothy Banner also preceded her in death. Mrs. Damon was a former resident of Flint, and moved to Woodard lake in October 1963. While in Flint she was a member of the Farnum-Wood Presbyterian church and attended Ionia Presbyterian church while at Woodard lake. She was also a member of Antlerettes, the auxiliary to Elks lodge. Survivors include one son, Wilfred J. Baragrey of Woodard lake, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and one sister Mrs. Agnes Tape of Highgate, Ontario, Canada. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Myers funeral home with Rev. Robert McComb of Ionia Presbyterian church officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Flint Sunset Hills cemetery with Rev. Robert Nixon officiating.
