Gary Dennis Dancer, 67, of Middleville, passed away July 29, 2013 in Grand 
Rapids. He was born June 26, 1946 in Ionia, the son of Franklin and Doris 
(Smith) Dancer.

Gary married Glenora Emmons on Sept. 30, 1967 in Allegan. He was a dedicated 
husband, father and grandfather. Gary loved to ride his Harley; going hunting 
and fishing; watch NASCAR; and his dog, Golden. He was a faithful employee of 
Lear Siegler for over 40 years, working as an engineer until his retirement in 
2007.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Glenora Dancer of Middleville; 
mother Doris Dancer of Allegan; children, Paula (Owen) Thiel of Allegan, Connie 
(Gabe) Hull of Grand Rapids, and Gary (Kurstin) Dancer Jr. of Coldwater; 
grandchildren, Carter, Walker, Majesta, Gabbie, Logan and Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Dancer.

Memorial visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia. Private Services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Gary's name to the Lemmon-Holt Cancer
