The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 17, 1966

Funeral services for George Danford, 73, will be at Myers funeral home Tuesday 
at 1:30 p.m.  He resided at 521½ West Washington and died suddenly Saturday at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital.

Born May 26, 1893 he was the son of Mr. and rms. Tunis Danford.  He was 
employed by Ionia Manufacturing and Mitchell-Bentley until he retired three 
years ago.

Surviving are two brothers, Charles and Tunis Danford of Kentucky. 

Mr. Danford was a member of the United Brethren church. Burial will be in 
Sheridan cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Walker officiating.
