Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Aug. 9, 1900

Shiloh, Aug. 6 - Mr. Danforth, who lived on the State road east of town, died 
Monday morning of old age. He was an old soldier and had been through many 
wars. Interment in Snow Lake cemetery.

Tunis Danfoth died July 31. He was a soldier and was buried August 2. He leaves 
a wife and eight small children. 

   THURSDAY - AUGUST 2, 1900
   Tunis Danford, aged 84 years, died July 31, buried at (Woodard Lake has been
   been crossed out) August 2. Deceased was an old soldier and long resident of
   Orleans.
