The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 24, 1941

Funeral services were conducted from the Boynton funeral home by Rev. F. G. 
Dunbar and Rev. Kenneth Romig Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. for Mrs. Julia 
Danforth, widow of George Danforth, who died at her home on East Main street 
Thursday.

Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Margaret Bergy and Mrs. Harry H. 
McGowan.  Bearers were Albert Fox, John Toutenhoofd, Harris Jackson, Charles 
Reasoner, Henry Cook and Blaine J. Laden, all past patrons of the OES.

Relatives attending out-of-town were Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Danforth, Mr. and Mrs. 
Harry Danforth and Miss Jane Danforth of Grosse Ponte, Duke VanDyke of Grand 
Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Roy McNaughton of Jackson.
