Mrs. Dorotha Daniels, 49, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon about 2 o’clock at 
her home on Harwood Road, Route 2, Lake Odessa.

She was born April 24, 1905, the daughter of Ambrose and Phoebe Augst, and 
lived her entire life on the farm home on Route 2.

She was a member of the Sebewa Baptist church and was employed at Neeb grocery 
store.

Surviving are her husband, Laverne Daniels Sr., two sons, Laverne Jr., of 
Sunfield and Pvt. Roger Daniels of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; one brother, 
William Augst of Grand Rapids and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at Pickens funeral 
chapel and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
