LaVerne Daniels, 76, of Harwood Road, Lake Odessa, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 
the Ionia Manor, where he had been a patient since February.

He was born May 11, 1901, at Lake Odessa, the son of Tillison and Ethel (Cook) 
Daniels.  He was a life long resident of Lake Odessa and a retired farmer.

Surviving are two sons, Laverne Daniels Jr. of Lake Odessa, and Roger of 
Lansing; a sister, Mrs. Burr (Moneita) Jackson of Lake Odessa; three 
grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Pickens Koops Chapel, 
Lake Odessa.  Rev. William Hertel will officiate and burial will be in Lakeside 
Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Coldwater State Home and 
Training Center.
