Lake Odessa Wave, 20 Jun 1901

Eunice Merrifield was born in Scipio, Cayuga county, N.Y., May 9, 1812, and 
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.C. Steward, near Lake Odessa June 11, 
1901.  She was married to Andrus W. Daniels October 27, 1839.  This union was 
blessed with eight children, six daughters and two sons.  He husband and one 
son have preceded her to that better land.  She had been a firm believer in the 
Baptist faith since 1836.  In her later years she had not been able to engage 
in active Christian work, but to the last was a faithful student of God’s word.

She leaves to mourn her loss six daughters, one son, 38 grand children, and 15 
great grand children.
