Preston Daniels, 49, Died Sun Evening

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 at the Mapes Funeral Home in Sunfield 
for Preston Daniels, 49, who resided on the former Charles Daniels farm in 
Sebewa. When he failed to return to the house Sunday evening, his wife 
investigated and found him dead. Death was thought to have been caused from a 
heart attack.

He was born July 17, 1898, in Sebewa. He had lived in Lansing for a number of 
years until coming to the farm about six months ago because of ill health.

Surviving are his wife, his parents, Mr and Mrs Tillison O.Daniels, two brothers 
Charles and LaVerne, and a sister Mrs.Burr Jackson all of Lake Odessa.

The Rev. Peter Bissett of Marshall, former Sebewa Baptist minister, officiated 
with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
