Ruth M. Darby, 100, died Wednesday, May 11, 1994 at Metropolitan Hospital in
Grand Rapids.  She was born Feb. 6, 1894 in Sheppard, Mich., the daughter of
Horton E. and Mary E. (Mullen) Pratt.  She married Ray A. Darby Oct 22, 1922 in
Lake Odessa.

Sue is survived by one son, Gordon R. Darby of Ada; one daughter, Helen Pinckney
of Saranac; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great great
grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 1, 1967; three
brothers and one sister.

The family will receive callers Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. and Friday from 2-4
and 7-8:30 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lake
Funeral Home in Saranac with the Rev. Donald Mathis officiating.  Interment will
be in the Saranac Cemetery.
