CLARKSVILLE WOMAN DIED SATURDAY
Mrs.Margaret Darby 93, of Clarksville died Saturday at the Taylor convalescent 
home in Ionia. Before that she had been cared for by Mrs Myrtie Taylor at the 
latter's home for 5 1/2 month. Mrs Darby was born in Ohio, the daughter of 
Israel and Pamela Heron and came with her parents when eight years old as early 
settlers in the Mill district. She married Rufus Darby in 1880 and he passed 
away about 30 years ago, also two daughters died in infancy and another 
daughter, Mrs Erma Wickham several years ago.

Surviving are two sons Ross of Morrisville, Ind., and Ray of Clarksville, six 
grandchildren and severn great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 at the Beattie Funeral Home with burial 
in Clarksville cemetery.
