The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 17, 1933


Ira Darby, 66, a native of Keene township and son of Mr. and Mrs. William 
Darby, died at his home in Berlin Sunday.  The body was taken to the Bradley 
funeral home and Tuesday afternoon will be taken to the home of her sister, 
Mrs. Sarah Burke, of Saranac, where services will be held Wednesday morning at 
10:30, with Rev. E. H. Humphrey in charge.

Surviving are three brothers: John, of Aurora, Ill., and Melvin and William, 
of Saranac; three sisters, Mrs. Burke of Saranac; Mrs. Ellen Hull, Lake City, 
and Mrs. Nancy Smith, of Belding.
