                 Funeral Services For Eugene Darken

Eugene Darken, 85, a long-time resident of Portland, who recently lived with his 
step-daughter, Mrs.Neva and at 315 Hambrook St., Belding died Thursday at 6:07 
at the Roush Convalescent Home in Ionia where he had been a patient for the last 
two months.

Survivors besides Mrs.Tran are two other step-daughters,Mrs.Robert Beard of 
Lyons and Mrs.Thelma Beard of Portland, one son Donald Darken of Lansing, 
several grand-children and great grandchildren.

Funeral service were held at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland. Burial was in 
East Sebewa Cemetery.
