Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Jun 1945

Mrs. Charity Darling, 77, of Ionia, died June 25 at Traverse City after a long
illness.  Mrs. Darling was born March 17, 1868 in Clinton county.  Her husband,
Benjamin Darling, died in 1925.

She is survived by three sons; Frank of Thayer, Missouri, John of Ionia and
Hobart of California; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Zanders of Ionia, Mrs. Floyd
Ball of Detroit, Mrs. George Johnson of Portland and Mrs. Homer Johnson of
Mecota; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be from the Myers funeral home and the date will be
announced later.

[Transcriber Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried
in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
