Lake Odessa Wave - Thursday April 24, 1958

EDYTHE DARLING DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Edythe B Darling, 70, passed away Tuesday night at Pennock hospital where 
she had been a patient for ten days. She had been in ill health for several 
years and had been hospitalized intermittently with a heart ailment.

She was born at Hart, Michigan the daughter of George and Margaret Koob and 
married Mr. darling December 5,1906 at Dowagiac and lived there and at Covert 
before moving here in 1910.

Mrs. Darling was a member of the Calvary United Brethren Church and WMA of the 
Church.

Surviving are her husband, Frank; one daughter, Mrs.Carl (Frances) Fuller of 
Lake Odessa; two sons, Albert of Portland and Forrest of East Lansing; one 
sister, Mrs.Irene Lutzke of Dorr, one brother, Clarence Koob of Hastings; 6 
grand and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Darling reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel until Friday forenoon then 
will be taken to the Calvary United Brethren Church where funeral services will 
be held at 2 p.m. Burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Isaac Osgood will officiate.
