Ionia Sentinel Standard - Wed. March 7, 1979

                               DALE L. DARLING

PEWAMO-Dale L.Darling, 74, of 9361 Wager Rd., Pewamo died Monday evening at the 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

He was born Dec. 7, 1904 in Rives Junction, the son of Nelson and Mary Darling.

Darling was employed y Oldsmobile of Lansing and Speciality Block of Ionia. He 
retired as night attendant from Lewis and Cass Building, Lansing in 1970.

In June of 1941, he married Clara Brehmer and they moved to Pewamo from Okemos 
in 1946,

He was a charter member of Golden Years Senior Citizen Club of Muir and a member 
of Lyons Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Clara; two sons, Max of Lyons and Raymond of Pewamo; 
one daughter, Mrs.Ray (Susan) Conley of Pewamo and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 pm at Lyons Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Paul Carmichael officiating. Burial will be in Muir Cemetery.

Darling will be at Hall Memorial Chapel, Muir,  until noon Thursday.
