A little baby daughter, ushered into the world the day before its mother died, is in splendid health and is doing nicely. The funeral was held from the house Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. Fred Tuig officiating and burial was in Riverridge cemetery. Mrs. Darling leaves, besides her husband, a son, Carlton, six years of age, and the baby daughter, Gladys. Also her mother, Mrs. Augusta Katz, two sisters, Mrs. O. D. Backus of this city, Mrs. Clara Morris of Greenville, two brothers, George Lehmann of this city, and Otto Lehmann of Niles, Ohio, Mrs. Adam Derstein and Miss Lehmann of Grand Rapids are half-sisters. Mr. Darling has the sympathy of the entire community in his great bereavement and his loss is joined in with and shared by a host of (illegible word) who knew Mrs. Darling as a splendid wife, mother, friend and neighbor.
