Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Jul 1966

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Darling, 86, died late Thursday afternoon at the home of her
son, Dale, on Wagar road, Lyons.  She had been ill for some time.  She was born
December 28, 1879 in Shepherd, to Mr. and Mrs. George Morse.  She married Nelson
Darling in Riverdale February 14, 1898.  He died in 1937 in Lansing.  One son,
Archie, died in 1944.

Surviving are one son, Dale, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The body will be at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir until 11 a.m. Saturday
when it will be taken to Lyons Baptist church for services at 1 p.m.
