Maretta May Datema (Sturm), of Lansing, formerly of Lyons passed away Wednesday,
Nov. 14, 2001 in Lansing.  she was born August 5, 1947 in St. Johns, the
daughter of Gerald and Vada (Bissell) Sturm.  She was a member of Wayside Chapel
in mason.  She was employed by the State of Michigan. 

She is survived by her children, Janet, Johnny and Joey Datema, all of Alma; two
brothers, Harry (Donna) Sturm of Lansing and Tony (Jeri) Sturm of Lyons; sister
Anita Fyan of Ionia, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Datema will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Lake
Funeral Home – Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir, with Rev. John A. Kennedy
officiating.  Interment Lyons cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday at 11 a.m.
until the time of funeral services.  Anyone wishing may make memorial
contributions to the charity of their choice.
