Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat. June 29, 2013

Betty Daugherty, born January 30, 1927, passed away June 24, 2013. Betty was 
married to Myron in 1949. She was employed at Haber's Restaurant, before 
retiring in 1991. She raised five children; Penny (the late Robert) Tucker, 
Ronald (Peggy) Daugherty, Michael (the late Penny) Daugherty, David Daugherty, 
and Sarah Daugherty; grandchildren Irene Tucker, Robert Tucker, Ronald 
Daugherty Jr., Theresa Daugherty, Leroy Daugherty Sr. Amber Casatte, Adam 
Daugherty, Michael Daugherty Jr. Chad Daugherty, Maggie Daugherty, Myron 
Daugherty, and Crystal Daugherty; great grandchildren Kaci, Demont, Germain, 
Coulson, Emerson, Leroy Jr. Ausitn, Logan, Dylan, Madison, Mason, Haley, 
Kaylynn, Preston, Adreana, Alxises, Ryelee, Makayla and Harper; and great great 
grandson Nathan.

Betty had been struggling with a long-time illness, in and out of the hospital. 
Though we know that it's time for you to be free, just know that you have left 
much laughter behind- from all the Mickey Mouse pancakes and playing cards, 
watching the soaps and WWE, all the family Christmases, and the short but very 
fast walks.  We know that time will help but right now it just hurts so much. 
We all love you. Good night.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Myron, son Ronald, great 
granddaughter Dana, both parents, and brothers and sisters.

Betty will be laid to rest at Easton Cemetery July 7th at 2 p.m. Pastor Cliff 
Allen will deliver the service. Special friends and family are Penny and 
Brandon Sharp and Colleen McGraw.
