Ionia County News, 22 Jan 1959

Miss Marge Davarn, daughter of James and Mary Davarn passed away Saturday a.m., 
January 17, at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing.  She was born in Pewamo and 
resided here for many years and attended school here, completing high school in 
Lowell after moving there with her parents.

She attended Nurses Training School at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann 
Arbor.  At the time of her death, she was Supervisor at The Eaton Rapids 
Community Hospital.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Long of Eaton Rapids, with whom she 
had made her home for the past few years, and Mrs. Ardis Ludwick, several 
nieces and nephews.  Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

The body reposed at the Geller Funeral Home in Westphalia, where the Rosary was 
recited at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday.  Funeral services were held 
Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Church with Mgsr. Joseph H. Henige 
officiating.  Burial was in the family lot in the St. Joseph’s cemetery.
