Davarn, 78, of 140 West Main street, died Monday at Ionia Manor. She was born September 26, 1895, in Kent county, the daughter of John and Elise Reusser Kropf, and had been a resident of Pewamo 48 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church and altar society. Surviving are: two sons, Jack and William Davarn, both of Pewamo; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Cook of Lansing; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Anton Kropf of Lowell, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Butler of Lowell and Mrs. Olive Wood of Grand Rapids. Funeral services are to be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph church with burial in St. Joseph cemetery. Rosary will be said at St. Mary’s Chapel in Westphalia 8 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday. Arrangements are made by Neller Funeral Home. Bearers will be James Cook, and Timothy, Patrick, Roger, Richard and Thomas Davarn.
