Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, April 27, 1921

Mrs. Helen A. Davenport, age 75 years, died at the home of her step-son, 
Emerson Davenport, north of Lowell, yesterday morning. She leaves two brothers, 
Alfred Avery of Adrian and Albert Avery of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Lena 
Wolf of Milford, Pa. She also leaves two step-sons, Charles Davenport of Keene 
township and Emerson Davenport in whose home she died. The funeral will be held 
from the residence of Albert Avery, 112 Mill street Thursday afternoon at 2 
o'clock, city time. Rev. M. H. Garrard will officiate and burial will take 
place in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
