Charles N. Davenport, 83, of Keene died at the home of his daughter, Miss 
Clarissa Davenport, a teacher at Dearborn, at 10:30 p.m. Thursday.  He was 
born March 29, 1867 in Fallasburg, Kent county, and lived there and in that 
vicinity all his life until June when he moved to the home of his daughter due 
to ill health.

He leaves a wife, Sarah, Keene; the daughter in Dearborn; a son, Nelson, of 
Lowell; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Emerson 
Davenport of Royal Oak.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Morris funeral.  The 
Rev. Lowell Derscheid of Saranac will officiate with interment in Saranac.
