DAVENPORT, CHARLES NELSON:
SENTINEL-STANDARD, MAY 24, 1993; IONIA, MI, page 3A:
SARANAC – CHARLES NELSON DAVENPORT, 88, of Saranac died Saturday at Tendercare
Nursing Home, Lansing.
   Born in Keene Township April 28, 1905, he was the son of Charles and Sarah
Wolfe Davenport.
   He was married to the former Mabel King; she died in 1987.
   He is survived by three sons, Dr. Bruce N. Davenport of Okemos; Ivan C.
Davenport of Saranac; and Dr. Edward L. Davenport of Parma; a daughter, Ethelyn
I. Rasmussen of Washington; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. from Lake Funeral Home, with the
Rev. Fred Wilbert officiating.
   Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.
