Neville Davern, 56, proprietor of a hardware and implement store at Pewamo, 
died Saturday afternoon of a heart attack.  He was born in Pewamo August 11, 
1892 and had lived most all his life there.  For a number of years he lived in 
Carson City and managed the Carson City Elevator. 

Funeral services were held from St. Joseph’s church at Pewamo Tuesday morning 
at 9 o’clock with burial in St. Joseph’s cemetery.  

He is survived by the widow Frieda; two sons, Jack and William of Pewamo, one 
daughter, Mrs. James Cook of Lansing, two brothers, William of Pewamo and Roger 
of Fowler, and three sisters, Miss Marjorie Davern of Lansing, Mrs. Joseph Long 
of Eaton Rapids and Mrs. H. B. Ludwick of Pewamo.
