Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Mrs. Ilah M. Davey, 86, of Caledonia formerly of Wyoming passed away March 3, 
2002 at her home.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1916 in Sebewa, the daughter of George and Dora 
(Peacock) Johnson.  She married Richard E. Ferris and he preceded her in death 
in 1954.  She then married Earl Davey and he preceded her in death in May of 
2001.

Surviving are one daughter, Sharon (Philip) Buer of Caledonia; three 
grandchildren, Michael Buer of Las Vegas, Nev., Terry Buer of San Francisco, 
Calif., and Kathy (Michael) Moore of Traverse City; two great-grandchildren, 
Nathan and Lyndsey; one sister, Oletha Reeder of Ionia; and special niece and 
nephews, Clark and JoEllen Reeder of Ionia, Larry and Dee Reeder of Ionia, Lois 
and Charles Eddy of Illinois and June and Duane Pinkston of Portland.

Graveside services will be held in spring at Tuttle Cemetery.  Visiting hours 
will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the Rich St. Chapel of Cook 
Funeral Home in Ionia.
