David, of Saranac, dean of Ionia county supervisors, who died Wednesday evening. The services were conducted by Rev. E. C. Nichols, of Ann Arbor, and interment was made in Saranac cemetery. The home was taxed to overflowing, many being forced to stand on the lawn outside while the services were underway. Bearers were Judge Montgomery Webster, Frank Loree, Arthur A. Baxter and Wallace Haight, representing county officials, and Charles E. Huhn and Rollie Henry, of Saranac. Members of the board of supervisors and officials of Ionia county together with stockholders and employees of the Saranac State Savings bank, of which Mr. David had been vice-president, were seated in a group, and acted as honorary escort for the remains. The abundance of floral testimonials were in charge of Mrs. William Brooks and Mrs. Dorothy Gamsby, of Saranac. Mr. David for 24 years was charged with the responsibility of representing the interests of Boston township on the board of supervisors fulfilling that duty until a year ago shortly after which he was appointed a member of the county road commission, which he held until his death.
